Something that I have noticed here in Georgia and I've mentioned it to a few other people, it seems like this spring with all the rain after years of drought, there are tons of birds, chirping, doing the things birds do in the spring (PG13) and busy building nests! It's very obvious that they had been missing in the landscape. Now they are back in mass! VN8

    VN8- I know that Georgia was struggling for some rain. I remember being in Georgia a couple years back and an enviromentalist wrote a article in the Atlanta Journal about the end of life as he knew it.....because there wasn't ever going to be enough water again. They said that in Florida during our drought in the late 90's. They're both wrong.

  5. Ha. This is funny.

    We haven't gotten a lot of rain in the Midwest, so I have been dunking the pots in a 5-gallon bucket with mild fertilizer until no more air bubbles come out. You can let them get really rootbound this way, and they last a week between waterings.
