...............to see if the Broc can beat the heat! Started from seed on Jan. 14th and transplanted to the garden on Feb. 8th. I swear I looked yesterday and didn't see any heads forming....but I've been wrong before!

You are encouraging me to photograph the hostas I separated this week. It's amazing how quickly they are coming up out of the ground. I love broccoli. What type of camera do you use? Your photos are so bright and crisp. VN8
ReplyDeleteIt won't be long now, those broccoli's really grow fast when the nice weather sets in. I think broccoli is my favorite cooked veggie.
ReplyDeleteVN8- Cannon 20D. With some great Cannon lenses and it makes up for a lack of skill.
ReplyDeleteDan- I need it fast! I'm trying to squeeze corn in after the Broc. My family was surprised how different the garden grown was different from the store bought. It's so tender!
It's like waiting for paint to dry... I think the more you watch the broccoli, the slower it grows. Ours was teasing us for a while. The plant grew very large, and I remember looking every day for the florets to expand. Good luck with the race. I hope you win.
